Forget Madea, Tyler Perry is going to be a dad! The actor and director's girlfriend of five years, Gelila Bekele, is expecting, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
The Single Moms Club director announced the news at his 45th birthday party at his home in Atlanta, GA., on Monday, Sept. 22.
"They are overjoyed and really, really happy," the source says of Perry and his model love, who is about 7 months along. "He was so happy in the moment so he told the guests," the insider says of the private star, who broke the news in front of 100 family members and close friends including Jennifer Holliday, Tevin Campbell, Monica, Jazmine Sullivan, and LeAnn Rimes.
