The Oscar presenter, 34, looked gorgeous in a cap sleeve black-and-nude illusion gown from Zuhair Murad's spring 2014 couture collection. The star's embroidered gown featured a sheer silk skirt and plunging illusion neckline with hand-beaded detail on the bottom of her skirt.
Hudson's after party outfit was a sharp contrast from her iridescent silver gown with cape detail on the Oscars red carpet, which landed the star on Us Weekly's Oscars 2014 best-dressed list. The gatherings at the waist and plunging neckline of her custom Versace dress showed off the star's svelte figure.
According to an eyewitness inside the venue, her mother, Goldie Hawn, who also presented at the 2014 Oscars, turned to Kurt Russell while her daughter stood at the podium and commented, "Kate looks beautiful." Sixty-eight-year-old Hawn's lookalike daughter gave her mother a shout-out onstage and chirped, "Hi, Mom!"
