Vote, vote, vote! Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert reunited during The Late Show on Monday, November 7, to blast Donald Trump one more time before the presidential election.
The former Daily Show colleagues staged a hilarious musical with a child actor playing a “little street urchin” who was “too scared to vote.”
Stewart, 53, played the mayor of Candytown, who was shocked to learn that the former Celebrity Apprentice host, 70, was the GOP nominee.
“What? Are you kidding me?” Stewart asked. “Are you serious? That angry tax-and-draft-dodging little orange groundhog is running for president?”
The young voter chimed in: “He’s running against Hillary Clinton. Ugh, I can’t tell who’s worse.”
“He’s worse!” Colbert, 52, and Stewart yelled in unison.
The trio were then joined by Hamilton’s Javier Munoz, who performed a rap about the importance of voting.
Colbert wasn’t the only late-night show host to get political on the eve of the election. The Late Late Show’s James Corden had Benedict Cumberbatch read him a scary bedtime story titled The Story of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.
The Doctor Strange actor, 40, played Corden’s father in the sketch. The skit poked fun of Trump’s debate sniffling and small hands and Clinton’s emails, among other things. It even included cameos from primary candidates Senator Bernie Sanders and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
