A gallery of broken hearts. Ingrid Michaelson and her husband Greg Laswell have split, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"After careful consideration, and with mutual respect, we have decided to separate," the couple tells Us in a statement. "We ask for privacy as we navigate this time in our lives."
Michaelson, 35, and the musician-recording engineer, 40, wed in August 2011, and moved to Brooklyn that same year.
The indie pop singer-songwriter briefly opened up about how they first met on Fresh 102.7's Jim & Kim radio show in February 2014.

"At first I was the chaser, and then I became the chasee," she joked at the time. "At first it was like he wasn’t ready for it and I went to do my own thing. Then he was like ‘Wait, what?'"
The soon-to-be exes have no children, but do share a border terrier named Shep Proudfoot. "I’m a big home person. I tend to be rooted in my kitchen or on my couch. And I love our apartment. It’s fixed up to be totally comfortable," Michaelson told the New York Times in March 2012. "People are always asking us why we don’t go out much, but the reality of it is we both travel a lot and we may go 25 days without seeing each other, so when we’re both home, we like to just catch up and have our together time."
